Please be aware, the cashmeres will take the dye differently than the WOOL CLOUDS. Expect slight differences in appearance. They tend to dye a little lighter.
Prior to kettle dying by Scarfshop these organic Wool Cashmere/Pashmina are handwoven in Kashmir in a state Weaver’s govt center. Kashmir unfortunately has militancy problems so there are state centers where award winning craftsmen make these scarves. There is a free range management of the livestock who are given organic feed. 50% of the farm is 100% chemical/pesticide free. Wool scouring is done with a benign process adding lime to water than chloride. Water wastage is less due to this. The cashmere is undyed.
These Scarfshop cashmeres are a little luxury worth every penny. They are warm and soft with a great weave. I have a few and am sure to order more.
I am usually sensitive to wool but this is buttery soft and feels like a hug. I’ve been wearing it every day since I received it. And the color is gorgeous!
This is the softest scarf ever! And the duck color, while impossible to get an accurate picture of, is the perfect color.
Just delicious. Color is gorgeous, and size is nice. Well made!
These scarves are the best! Softer than any others and the colors are rich and deep; absolutely beautiful. Will be buying more come fall/winter.
I love the feel of this scarf and the color is amazing.
Love my Cashmeres. Maine winters are cold and these keep me nice and toasty warm. And they are supppperrrr soft and cozy.
This is so incredibly warm and softer than anything I have owned!! It's warm without making me that sweaty hot I get a lot (thanks kids). I end up using it a lot even without a coat on colder days, they seriously are magical! I have 2 with more on the way :)
I will never buy another scarf again! I resisted this one for a looooong time because, well, it's pricey. BUT it is the softest thing ever and it keeps me warm without being sweaty. I got piglet which is the greatest shade of pink/blush and such a wonderful neutral. I wear it with everything!
